Fiesta on George represents vibrancy, colour, fun and festivities set amongst the historic backdrop of George Street’s heritage buildings. The event brings together restaurants, cafés, retailers and a host of street stalls to host Launceston’s largest street party, attracting several thousand people throughout the course of the day.
Fiesta provides opportunity for visitors and locals to explore many of the niche businesses and boutiques that are dotted along the streetscape amidst the excitement of live performances and roving entertainment. Recognised as one of Launceston’s premier food and wine destinations, Fiesta highlights the international food flavours of French, Italian, Indian and Mexican.
